My best friend and songwriting partner, Chas Smit, once told me that all the hardships we experience in life will one day make for good reading. His encouraging words are so true, a good life should be adventures, dramatic, comical and mysterious sometimes. I just had no idea then that he would become such an integral part of my story.
I am a professional musician from South Africa. I've released three successful albums which have all produced several No.1 hits and blessed me with an exceptional life. After the success of my first album, Chas and I were giving the opportunity to record our second album with a Grammy nominated producer. On the evening of the launch of that album and after a sell out performance, Chas was tragically knocked over outside the theatre and died beneath the open sky, leaving his family and myself on our knees in despair. He truly was the greatest guy and to have his young life robbed from us, along with all the dreams that we had worked so hard for was, and still is so heartbreaking.
However life and death dance the tango on a tight rope and it can go one way or the other so easily. Therein lies the lesson. Here today, gone tomorrow... make the most of it. So I did and since then I've released my most successful album to date, have toured to more countries and played to more people than ever before. I also got married to the love of my life and we are now expecting our first child. I am incredibly excited about becoming a father! I also started an online business, which now allows me the freedom to keep making music on my terms and live the family life I was born to live. Under no obligations to anyone but my family.
Being an online marketing leader and mentor with the a top online company like CC pro, is an honour and so exciting. Every little success is like winning the lottery. I know that as my business grows so does my freedom.
I am an ambitious man, with hope like a raging bull. My life is a dream and my desire is that we all find this freedom in our lives. So here is to our success.
Good luck and God bless,
